PLEASE NOTE: From 21st November 2016, these rates will be reduced by 0.25% to 1.15% for a Six Month Notice Account and 1.25% for a 12 Month Notice Account.

 

Our Sapphire Accounts enable personal customers to take advantage of competitive interest rates combined with greater flexibility than a fixed term bond.

 

Sapphire Account Features

• Choose a written notice period of either 6 or 12 months for withdrawals.
• Additional deposits allowed at any time, up to the maximum balance.
• Individual & joint accounts available.
• Interest paid annually on 30th November.
• One withdrawal of up to 10% of the account balance in any 12-month period allowed without notice or penalty.
• You should keep at least €5,000 in your account at any one time or a lower interest of 0.50% will apply.
• Available to Belgium residents aged over 18.
• Decrease of interest rates will be notified 2 months in advance and your account can be closed, if required, without penalty.
